Biography
Mary was born in 1844, the daughter of Timothy and Mary Sullivan.[1] Their family lived in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.[2]
She married Michael Corcoran in 1871.[3] They lived in Nova Scotia and had three children.

- Timothy, b. 1876[5]
By 1881, they had moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia where Michael was a miner.[6]
They had three more children.
Her husband, Michael was killed in the 1887 Nanaimo Mine Disaster.
She married Dan Sullivan in 1889; he was also widowed at the time of their marrige.[10][11] Their family continued to live in to Nanaimo, British Columbia where Dan was a blacksmith.[12]
In 1911, she was living with her son, Patrick in Nanaimo. [13]
In 1931, she was living with her daughter, Gertrude in Nanaimo.[14]
She passed away in 1937.[1] She was buried in the Nanaimo Municipal Cemetery in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
