Karl Martin Sund was born on 9 Jun 1853 in Hållnäs, Uppsala, Sweden, son of Jan Erik (Lyman) Sund (1817 - 1882) and Catharina (Efverstrom) Sund (1823 - 1905).
Karl Martin married Maria Charlotta Larsdotter (1853 - 1922). Their children were:
- Hilma Maria (Sund) Påhlman (1880 - 1936)
- Ernst Sund (1891 - 1954).
Karl Martin died on 7 Jan 1895 in Hållnäs aged 41.
