Biography

Robert was born in 1923 and passed away in 2003.

A birth certificate was issued in the name of Robert Wayne Frisby reporting his birth on July 15, 1923 in Moral Township, Shelby County, Indiana, the legitimate son of Daniel Leroy Frisby and Deloris Fern Wilkins. Deloris died in 1927 before Robert was 4 years of age. Thereafter, Robert was enumerated as a 6-year-old in the 1930 Census and he was identified as the son of Oliver Surber and his wife, Christina. Deloris was Christina's daughter and Robert was Christina's grandson. It is not known whether or not Robert was legally adopted by Oliver and Christina, but starting with the 1930 Census, Robert thereafter used the Surber surname.

No additional information could be found for Robert's father, Daniel Leroy Frisby, and his burial location is unknown.
