On 6 June 1841 Richard Sutton (28) Miner with wife Elizabeth Sutton (24) and children John Sutton (4) and Elizabeth Sutton (2) lived in Triplet, Gwennap With St Day, Cornwall, England. [1]
On 30 March 1851 Richard Sutton (38) copper miner with wife Elizabeth Sutton (34) and children Eliza Jane Sutton (11), Richard Sutton (9), James Sutton (5) & William Sutton (4) lived in Wheel Rose, Probus, Cornwall, England. [2]
James Dabb married Elizabeth Jane Sutton in 1859 in Probus, St Agnes, Cornwall. [3]

In 1861 the Dabb family lived in Wheel Rose, Probus, St Agnes, Cornwall, England. [4] James Dabb (23) Copper & Tin miner with wife Elizabeth F Dabb (22) and daughter Amelia Dabb (1).
James immigrated to the United States to work in the coal mines.
In April 1871 children Amelia (11) and James (9) lived with their grandmother, Elizabeth Sutton (60) Pauper & her son Joseph Sutton (16) Lead miner in Addington Place North, Liskeard, Cornwall. Elizabeth J Dabb (23?) was a servant, also living in Liskeard. [5]
Jane Dabb (28) and her two children Amelia & James departed England for the US on board S.S. City of Brussels in May 1871, arriving in New York on 22 May 1871. [6]
Son Joseph was born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania in 1872.
Her husband passed away in 1879.
In 1885 English born Jane Dabb (41), widow, lived in Border St, Warren, Iowa with children James H Dabb (23), Joseph Dabb (13), Amos Dabb (8) and William Dabb (6). [7]
She passed away in 1897 and was buried at the Cedar Cemetery, lot 98. [8] [9]
