Thomas Newbern Sweat was born in 1852 in Ware County, Georgia to John Franklin Sweat, Sr. and Sarah Newbern.[1] He married Sindarilla Johnson about 1869 in Georgia.[2][3] After the death of Sindarilla, Thomas married Alice Jane Paul in 1887 in Pierce County, Georgia.[4][5][6] He passed away in 1916 in Georgia and is buried in the Sweat Cemetery in Pierce County, Georgia.[7]
