Scott Swindells was born in Lancashire, England.

Scott was born to Henry Swindells and Ellen W Ashworth, with his birth registered in Chorlton, Lancashire in late 1877^[1].

Scott married Miriam Leslie Pointon on 2 Dec 1903^[2], with the marriage registered in Congleton, Cheshire, in late 1903.^[3]

A son, Philip Wallis Swindells, was born 13 Aug 1905, and baptised 2 Oct 1905 at All Saints, Hessle, Yorkshire East Riding.^[4]

A son, Leslie Roger Swindells was born and baptised 30 Jun 1907, in Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire.^[5]
