Hugh Taggart, BLACKSMITH, son of James Taggart & Mary Wallace, was born in Feb 1835 in Paterson, Passaic, New Jersey.[1]

In 1892, Hugh (widowed) appears at the United States National Homes for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Montgomery, Ohio. His next of kin is listed as Jane Matthews.[2]

Hugh passed away on the 27 Nov 1912 in Jefferson Township, Montgomery, Ohio.[3][4][5][6][7]
