Clyde Edward Talmage was born on 2nd January 1924 in West Croydon, South Australia, Australia. He was the son of Edward Talmage and Grace Gravenall.
On 8th May 1942 he enlisted in the Commonwealth Military Force (Militia) for service within Australia during the Second World War. Posted to 2/7th Base Workshop Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, he was discharged on 2nd July 1946. [1]
