Biography

Charles was born in 1881. He is the seventh and youngest son of Thomas Tanner and Malinda Bonifield. [1]

Charles owned and operated a grocery store near the post office on Washington Street in Napoleon, Ohio. He began working at that same store many years earlier when it was owned by Mr. Frank C. Fisk. Charles later bought ought Mr. Fisk.[1]
