Biography

He married Matilda Caroline Harmon on 4 October 1848 in Independence, Arkansas. He was 20 years old.[1][2][3] Their children were Nancy,[4] Henry T. and William.

He married Martha Catharine Potts nee Fulks on 14 February 1856 in Independence County, Arkansas.[5][6][7] Their children were Sarah, Mary,[8]Adolphus, Susan, George and Joe.

Columbus died from phthisis pulmonalis [consumption) in August 1879 in Izard County, Arkansas, aged about 51.[9]
