Biography

George was born about 1782.

George Tattersall and Peggy Ramsbottom both lived in Bridge Clough in this parish and were married in the St Nicholas Chapel of Newchurch in Rossendale by Banns, on the 2nd day of February 1804 by Isaac Allinson. They both couldn't write. The marriage witnesses were William Lord and Georg Tattersall.^[1]
