Barbara, daughter of Alfred Taylor and Margaret Rothwell, was born in 1877 on her father's farm at Sandy Springs in Green Township. She married Daniel Adams in 1900. They had six children, five surviving to adulthood. She suffered from breast cancer the last couple of years of her life and passed away on 31 January 1934. She is buried in the Sandy Springs Cemetery.
