Henry was the son of Christopher Taylor and Mary Edwards of Bedford County, Virginia.

Nov 1856 - The will of Henry Taylor is probated in Washington Co., Tenn.

Wife Delilah - where I now live and gave to my son Skelton Taylor and conveyed at his request to John Ryland and Abraham Taylor - I give her a life estate. Children: Abraham, Skelton, Polly Barkley, Hannah Miller. Executors: Abraham Taylor, Ebenezer Barkley. Witnesses: J. Blair, William K. Blair, R. L. Blair. Signed, Henry Taylor.[1]
