He is buried in the Old Taylor Graveyard/Hussey Family Cemetery near his old home. 1901-1902 Daily Journal Article by Colonel Clayton who was an author and lawyer, says that the grave was unmarked. It was a mound covered by bricks behind his 2nd wife, Elizabeth Carter Marsh. It had a wrought iron fence around it. It was in the back left corner of the Hussey Cemetery.
