Clarence McKnight Taylor, son of John McKnight Taylor and Iva (McClary) Taylor, was born on 8 May 1853 in Ohio.[1] He appeared on the census of 28 Jun 1860 in the home of his parents at Pike Township, Muscatine Co., Iowa.[2] He appeared on the census of 30 July 1870 in the home of his parents at Benton, Fremont Co., Iowa.[3]
He married Jane Caroline Healea, daughter of George Washington Healea and Nancy J. (Smith) Healea, on 13 Dec. 1876 in Tekamah, Burt County, Nebraska.[4][1]
He was a farmer when he and Jane appeared on the census of 18 June 1880 at Summit, Burt, Nebraska.[5]
Clarence died on 9 June 1926 at Walthill, Thurston County, Nebraska and was buried at Craig Cemetery, Craig, Burt County, Nebraska. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
