Mary, daughter of William and Hannah Taylor, was born in 1804 and baptised in 1804 in Thorne, Yorkshire (West Riding).[1] Her mother's maiden name was Bowling, and her parents were Samuel and Ann Bowling.[2]
Marriage
Mary married Richard Backhouse on 27 November 1827 in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, England.[3] Mary was of Gainsborough, and Richard was a ship's carpenter of Hook, Yorkshire. They married In All Saints Church. Both signed the register [4]
Censuses
On 30 March 1851 Mary (age 46) was the wife of Richard Backhouse in Holy Trinity, Hull, Yorkshire, Yorkshire (East Riding).
Mary's death was registered in the Sculcoates district in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1871 [8] Mary (age 66) was buried on 14 December 1871 in Hull, Yorkshire.[9]
