Bennie was born June 16, 1893.^[1]

Bessey Candler was enumerated as wife of the head of household at 64 Springdale Road, Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia for the January 3, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1892 in Georgia and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William Candler, daughter Rena E Candler, son William Candler Jr., servant Martha Smith and servant Will Murphy.^[2]

Bennie T Candler was enumerated as head of the household in 440 Springdale Road NE, Militia District 0531, DeKalb County, Georgia for the April 14, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1894 in Georgia and married. She was first married at the age of nineteen as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William Candler, daughter Rena E Candler and son William Candler Jr.^[3]

Bennie J Candler was listed in an August 11, 1937 New York, New York Passenger from Southampton, as living at Biltmore Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia. Her place of birth was listed as Richland, Georgia as seen in an image of the passenger list. She was traveling with William Candler on the ship Aquitania.^[4]

Bennie T Hanson died in Fulton County as recorded of her January 6, 1987 Georgia Death.^[5]
