New Years Wedding is Solemnized in Jermyn

JERMYN, Jan. - 5. A pretty New Year's wedding took place on last Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock, when Miss Lilly Dunn, daughter Of Mr. and Mrs. George Dunn, of South Washington avenue, Jermyn, was united in marriage to Jasper B. Telford, of Feckvllle. Rev. F. P. Houghton, of Glenburn, performed the ceremony. Miss Emily Dunn, a sister of the bride, was the maid of Honor and Aired Telford, a brother of the bride groom was the best man. Misses Margaret Morgan and Martha Reegan, acted as bridesmaids. The ushers were Claude Sando and Gilbert Telford. The bride was attired in a gown of white brocaded velvet and carried a shower bouquet of lilles of the valley. The maid of honor wore a gown of orchid chiffon, and birdemaids wore honey dew and pink chiffon. A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride, after which the couple left on a wedding trip to the South. Upon their return they will reside at a newly furnished home in North Scranton.^[1]
