Biography
Olive (Thacker) Cawley is a Virginian.
Olive aka Ollie May was born in July of 1894 to Nathan Luther Thacker and Mary G. Gibson.[1] She is listed with her parents in Augusta, Virginia on the 1900 Census[2] prior to the death of her mother in 1902. Her father was remarried to Mary Elizabeth Childress in 1903 and she is listed with her father and her stepmother on the 1910 Census.[3] in LaSalle County, Illinois where she married George Stenhouse on February 10, 1912.[4] George passed away and she was remarried on October 14, 1925 to Thomas E. Cauley or Cawley in Clark County, Washington.[5] She is listed with Thomas Cawley on the 1940 Census[6] and the 1950 Census[7] in Portland, Oregon.
