He served with the Confederacy during the Civil War. He was a Private with Chisum's Regiment, Texas Dismounted Cavalry, the 2nd Texas Partisan Rangers.[7]
Harrison passed away in 1906[8] and is buried at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, Camp County, Texas[1] with a military headstone.[9]
