Charlotte (Thomas) Morehouse is a part of US Black heritage.
Charlotte (Thomas) Morehouse was born in March 1850 in Franklin County, New York according to the 1900 US Federal Census.[1] Her father, John Thomas, was born in Maryland[2] and her mother, Mary, was born in New York.[2]
She was the wife of Civil War veteran Stephen Warren Morehouse of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.[3] She applied for a widow's pension based on her husband's service on 2 October 1882.[3]
