Biography

Furman was born 1813 September 13th ^{[1] [2]} to John D Thompson and his wife, Euphemia Hankins. His siblings are Anne ( Bills), Phebe, John, Elizabeth (Hulshart), and David F.

He was farmer (1850, 1860, 1880), and a lot farmer (1870).

Furman was married 1842 January 15th to Eliza Ann VanMater ^[3] Their children are Mary (Anderson), Emma (Chamber), Charles S, Robert, David C, and Joseph.

Residence

Forman died 1882 May 13th possibly in Ocean County ^[2]. His memorial is in the same plot with Eliza Ann VanMarter, Charles, Maria, Charlie Thompson and a stone marked SSM in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. His memorial is inscribed:
