Biography

Cyril 'Ralph' Thornton was born in 1908 to David John and Janet (Nettie Pringle Kerr) Thornton in Durham, Ontario, Canada. By 1921 David had moved his family to the Copeland area SE of Dafoe Saskatchewan where he began farming. Ralph married Hannah Abell in 1936 in Copeland. They farmed in the area and raised two children. Ralph passed away in July 1995 in Raymore. He was buried in Copeland Cemetery.
