Cain Thurman is a part of US Black heritage.

Cain Thurman was born on November 8th, 1880 in Rock Bluff, Liberty, Florida, United States. [1][2]

His parents were Sam Thurman and Annie Thurman. [2]

In 1900 He was living in Precincts 1-5, Oak Grove, Bristol, Orange, Coe Mills, Chester or School House in Liberty County, Florida, United States with his mother and 7 siblings. He was 19 years old and working as a farm laborer. It was reported that he could read, write and speak English. [3]

He was living in Bristol, Liberty County, Florida, United States on September 12th, 1918 when he registered for the World War I Draft. He was employed as a turpintiner in the Bristol Naval Store Company. Maude Thurman was his next of kin. [1]

He died on August 26, 1922 in Quincy, Gadsden, Florida[2] and was buried on August 30th in Gretna, Gadsden County, Florida, United States. [2][4]
