Biography

Emma Mary Tibbs was born 31 Dec 1846 in Marylebone, London, England to George William Tibbs and Harriet (Phillips) Tibbs. Her birth was registered in Marylebone in the first quarter of 1847.^[1]

Emma Mary Tibbs was christened at Saint Luke in Westminster, London on 6 Aug 1848.^[2]

In 1851 Emma Mery Tibbs (age 4) lived at Peter Street in Saint James Westminster with her father George (42, Cabriolet Driver), mother Harriet (43), and brother Thomas (12).^[3]

In 1861 Emma M Tibbs (age 14, Scholar) lived at Boswell Court in St George the Martyr, London with her father George W (52, Cab Driver), mother Harriet (53), and lodger Francis Windle (31, Cabman).^[4]

Emma Mary Tibbs married William Routledge in 1865 - their marriage was registered in St James Westminster, London in the first quarter of the year.^[5]

Emma and William had two sons: William George Routledge (1867-) and Frederick Routledge (1869-).

In 1871 Emma Routledge (age 24) lived in St George Bloomsbury, London with her husband William (29, French Polisher) and two sons: William (3) and Frederick (2).^[6]

Emma Mary Routledge passed away in 1873, aged 27 years.^[7]
