Willie Maggie (Tindell) Kelsey was born on 28 Dec 1881 in White, Tennessee, United States, daughter of William Tindle (~1849 - 1919) and Elizabeth (Knowles) Tindle (1853 - ~1907).

Willie married William T Clark (1851 - <1910).[1]

Their children were:

  1. Herman Clark (1898 - 1973)
  2. Zollie Ray Clark (1900–1902)

Willie married Henry Brooks Kelsey (1883 - 1942) on 14 Sep 1902 in Sparta, White County, TN, USA.[2]

  1. Fountain Brooks Kelsey (1903 - 1982)
  2. Remer Kelsey (1905 - 1947)
  3. Rasco Kelsey (1910 - 1948)
  4. Paul Kelsey (1913 - 1913)
  5. Jewel (Kelsey) Essary (1914 - 1997)
  6. Walter Franklin Kelsey (1917 - 1980)
  7. Eliza Kelsey (1922 - 1922).

In the 1900 census Maggie (age 7) was the divorced daughter of William Tinnell in Civil District 5, White, Tennessee, United States.[3] William Tinnell 50, wife Elizabeth Tinnell 46, son Garner Tinnell 13, daughter Janey Tinnell 10, son Willie Tinnell 7, son Harvey Tinnell 4, daughter Maggie Clark 7, grandchild Hermon Clark 2.

In the 1910 census Maggie (age 26) was the wife of Henry Kelsy in Civil District 5, White, Tennessee, United States.[4] Henry Kelsy 25, wife Maggie Kelsy 26, son Fountain Kelsy 7, son Remer Kelsy 5, son Virgil Kelsy 2, stepson Herman Clark 12.

In the 1920 census Maggie (age 38) was the wife of Henry B Kelsay in Civil District 1, White, Tennessee, United States.[5] Henry B Kelsay 37, wife Maggie Kelsay 38, son Fontaine Kelsay 16, son Remer Kelsay 14, son Virgil Kelsay 12, son Roscoe Kelsay 10, daughter Jewel Kelsay 5, son Walter Kelsay 2.

In the 1930 census Maggie (age 49) was the wife of Henry Kelsy in District 03, White, Tennessee, United States.[6] Henry Kelsy 52, wife Maggie Kelsy 49, son Reanier Or Reamer Kelsy 24, son Rosco Kelsy 19, daughter Jewel Kelsy 16, son Walter Kelsy 13, daughter Myrtle Kelsy 11, grandchild Reamer Kelsy Jr. 5.

In the 1940 census Maggie (age 58) was the widowed head of household in Civil District 3, White, Tennessee, United States.[7] Maggie W Kelsey 58, grandson Reamer R Kelsey 14.

Willie died on 15 Nov 1943 in Sparta aged 61. She is buried in Young Cemetery, White County.[8][9]
