Biography
Born in 1913. Served in Korea as PVT HQ CO 2 BN 30 Infantry. Listed as sibling of Deamie Watts in obituary. Preceded Deamie Watts in death. Married Alda Ramsey Tipton and had one son, Homer Tipton Jr in 1950. Died at Oteens Veteran Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina in 1971 at the age of 57. Buried in Watts Cemetery in Yancey County, North Carolina. His spouse Alda Tipton was still living in 2011.
