βIn March 1741, Gideon and Edith were dismissed from the Third Church of Newbury, Massachusetts, to the Kingston, New Hampshire, Church; and on 25 April 1744, they were dismissed from the Kingston, NH, Church to the Kensington, New Hampshire, Church. One record states that Gideon married a Ruth Dir (Dyer). No substantiating record has been found. The names AIR and DIR may have been misread. This family lived in Abington, Massachusetts; Kingston, New Hampshire; Kensington, New Hampshire; and Londonderry, New Hampshire.β Tirrell book [1]
