John was born about 1910. He is the son of John Toomer and Norma Bickham. He married Irma May Kirton in 1933. But when he enlisted in the Army in 1942, he states: Separated, without dependents. He possibly could have stayed married and had children after his service.
He passed away in 2000 and is buried in Skyview Memorial Lawn, in Vallejo, Solano County, California.[1]
