George was in a military record on 10 October 1861 in Flint, Michigan.[1]

George's original burial location was North 158 1/3 degrees about 200 yards east of Ray (Rhea) Springs on a place known as the Ray Place at about 1/4 mile Southeast of Shiloh Church on the east side of a cleared field; buried in two lines running in North and South. He was the third grave on a headboard flint from the South and East line [2].

He passed away in 1862.
