Biography

Joseph Tow/Towe was born in 1857 in Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia, the son of Rose (Murphy) Tow and John Tow.^[1]

He married Matilda Rock in 1882 in Rylstone, New South Wales.^[2] Their children were:

Clifton Hill), John, William, Edward (deceased, late A.I.F.), Robert, James (deceased, killed in action, late A.I.F.), Richard (deceased), Rose (Mrs. Carr), Emily (deceased), Alice (Mrs. F. Burke, Clifton Hill), Allan (deceased) and Leslie, and grandad of little Bevely, in his 83rd year. Peacefully sleeping.
