Biography
William was born 1686, son of George Traill and his second wife Anna Baikie. [1][2]
He married Sibilla Mackenzie, daughter of the Rev. Thomas Mackenzie, minister of Shapinsay. They had a daughter, Ann Traill, who married (in 1716) the Rev. John Nisbet, minister of Sandwick and Stromness.[3]
