12 October 1850 U. S. Federal Census Argyle, Washington County, New York -Sarah E. 45, Archibald 14, James 18, Abram 6. Archibald and Abram were attending school, and James was a laborer.

6 June 1855 New York Census Argyle, Washington County, New York -Sarah 60, Archibald 20, James 25, and Abram 11. Sarah was listed as a widow, James and Archibald were listed as farmers. James owned some land. They lived in a framed house with a real estate value o $25.00.

Between 1855 and 1865, Sarah may have married John Farl (Harsha). (b. 1808 Ireland d. Bef. 1870)

28 June 1865 New York Census Argyle, Washington County, New York -John Farl or Harsha 57,Sarah 68. Sarah’s son Archibald, 28, was listed as John’s stepson. Archibald’s wife had died so he and his daughters (Hannah 6 and Sarah 4) were living with John and Sarah.

21 August 1870 U. S. Federal Census Argyle, Washington County, New York, P.O. Fort Edward Archibald 35, Catharine 26, Hannah E. 11, Sarah J. 9, Sarah 75. By 1870 Archibald had remarried and his mother, Sarah, was living with him. Sarah was listed as a Killmer again. Archibald was a farmer; Elizabeth was a housewife and the children were in school.

15 June 1875 New York Census Argyle, Washington County, New York -Archibald 40, Kate 31, Hanna 14, Sarah 13, James D. 4, Sarah 79. Archibald was listed as a farm laborer and owned land. Sarah was listed as a widow.

3 June 1880 U. S. Federal Census Kirwin, Philips County, Kansas -Archibald 45, Catherine 35, Sarah 18, James 10, Charles 2, Sarah 85. Sarah Tripp Killmer was still living with her son Archibald and his family when they had moved to Phillips County, Kansas. On Archibald’s grave memorial, it stated that he and his family moved to be closer to his sister Hannah and her family.

Sarah died on 27 November 1890 in Kirwin, Phillips County, Kansas and was laid to rest in the Kirwin Cemetery, Kirwin, Philips County, Kansas.
