He was born by 1746 and his first child was born in 1768. He died in the Essex quarter of Saybrook 30 August 1819. He died intestate, but the distribution of his estate is recorded naming his children. He is said to have married (1) Ruth Stannard about 1767 and he married (2) Margaret Starkey, died June 1813.
