Margaret Troup is a part of US Black heritage.

Margaret was born before 1848 possibly in Georgia. Her parents are unknown, but was born a slave first owned by Robert Troup, first recorded in 1848, inherited by George M Troup Jr., 1856 and then was managed by George's guardian Daniel HB Troup. [1]
