Marie Luce was the daughter of Thomas Trudel and Luce Paquet. She and her twin sister Marie Lisa were born 11 June 1853 and baptized the next day in Saint-Raymond, in modern-day Québec. Their godparents were Hyppolite Beaupré and Julie Trudel.[1]
Four days after she and her twin were born, Marie Luce's mother Luce died. Marie Luce's twin died a few weeks later. Marie Luce herself lived about one-and-a-half months before she too passed away 28 August 1853. She was buried two days later in St-Raymond.[2]
