Biography

Rachel was born in Middletown in 1745, the ninth child, seventh daughter, of Thomas Tryon and Mary Andrews ^[1]. She married Solomon Hubbard in Middletown on March 20, 1766 ^[2]. She died in Middletown at the age of 36.^[3]. Note that the church records says she died on the 20th but her headstone and all other records say the 19th.
