He married Mary Alexander on 24 Mar 1886 in Will County, Illinois.[2] "Mary is the wife of Allison Tryon of Channahon, and they have two children—George and Louis."[3]
From 28 Mar 1893 to 27 Mar 1894 Allison served as the Treasurer of Commissioners of Highways of the town of Channahon.[4]
He appears on indexed maps of Walnut township, Cowley County, Kansas in 1905, holding 160 acres.[5]
He died in 1929.
