"Lucy Lurana TUBBS (daughter of Frederick TUBBS and Lucy Philena COLVIN) b. 16 Apr 1845, Woodhull, Steuben Co. NY, m. 27 Oct 1861, in Knoxville, Tioga Co. PA, John Wesley TAYLOR, b. 19 Jun 1839, Marcellus, Onondaga Co. NY, (son of Nathan Augustus TAYLOR and unknown) occupation farmer & minister, d. 20 Feb 1906, Normandy, Moore Co. TN, buried: Powell Cem., Bedford Co. TN. Lucy died 1929. "[1].
The 1850 & 1860 US census use Lucy's middle name Lurana spelled 'Lurany' & 'Urana'. It is possible she preferred her middle name. Her siblings are listed in the same household, including a set of twins, increases the certainty that this is her record.
