Biography

John Joseph Turbitt was the son of Mchael H. Turbitt and Mary Downey.^[1]
He was born August 31, 1894^[1][2] in Providence, Rhode Island.^[3]
He married Marie Selina Pothier, the daughter of Severin Pothier and Bibianne Surette on May 6, 1915 in Providence, Rhode Island.^[4]
In 1917, he and his wife were residing at 1066 Eddy St. in Providence, and he was employed at the Narragansett Electric Light Company,^[5]as chief electrician,^[6] as was still so in 1942.^[2]
John Joseph died September 11, 1983 in Providence County, RI. , and was buried at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, Rhode Island:^[3]
