Biography
Whitfield was born in 1905 in Chickasaw county, Mississippi. He was the son of Buford Turner and Maggie Moss. [1] In the 1920 Census of Chickasaw County, Mississippi, Whitfield is living in his parents household. [2] Whitfield was a farmer and a Baptist and did not serve in the military. He passed away in 1977. [3] in Mississippi and was buried in Oak Forrest Cemetery, located in Randolph, Pontotoc County, Mississippi.
