Research Notes
A William Turner married Rebecca Nicholson in 1775 in Bute, North Carolina. That Rebecca was named as an heir (Rebecca Turner) in her father's will. However, there have been no documented sources found to positively tie that Rebecca as the wife of William, son of John and Rebecca McMechen, that died in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I have removed known children from Rebecca Nicholson as their mother. - (Stevenson-9307 13:56, 12 February 2022 (UTC))
