Family names makes Isaiah Turner, b. abt. 1730 a likely candidate for Stephen T Turner 's father.

Stephen marriage registration with Lucy Snead 18 Feb 1803 in Franklin County, Virginia, Richard Snead is listed as Surety. No date of marriage is listed. Richard Sneed married Seney Turner of which Stephen Turner is listed as Surety in 1801, Franklin County, Virginia.[1] Lucy is not listed as an heir in John Sneed's Will.[2]

Children listed as court record 11 Nov 1834 Henry county, found in Chancery Record Stephen T Turner Vs. mother Lucy Turner. Land sold (one hundred and sixty four acres) in 16 Oct 1835, and payment was distributed among children of deceased father Stephen Turner. [3]
