Percy was twice married. He married, first, Mae L. Prescott, on December 26, 1900, in Milan, New Hampshire.[2] She died on January 12, 1917.[3] Percy married Georgia A. Jackson on May 1, 1923, in MIlan.[4]
Percy was of medium height and build, and had light hair and blue eyes. He was engaged in farming.[5]
Percy died on May 16, 1930, in Berlin, New Hampshire.[6] He is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan, New Hampshire.[7] His obituary was published in the Lewiston Daily Sun (Lewiston, Maine):[8]
Berlin, N. H.—Percy Twitchell of Milan dropped dead this morning on the plazza of the home of Thomas Breman, 54 High street as he was delivering milk. A few minutes previous at the Gendron store he complained of a pain in his side, and death was attributed to heart trouble.
Mr. Twitchell was born at Milan 50 years ago and has always lived there. He has run a milk route in Berlin for many years. He is survived by his wife and several children in Milan.
