Biography
John TYACK was born about 1815, possibly in Cornwall, England
In the 1850s, John TYACK was the captain of the schooner, Mary Stewart that sailed between Circular Head, Van Diemen's Land/Colony of Tasmania and Melbourne, Colony of Victoria carrying passengers and/or cargo[1]
Ann DALE and John TYACK were married in 1853 at the independent Congregational Church, Melbourne, Colony of Victoria[2].
He passed away on 6 November 1889 in North Melbourne, Colony of Victoria[3] and was buried at the Melbourne General Cemetery[4].

- TYACK.— On the 6th November, at his residence, 82 Capel-street, North Melbourne, Captain John Tyack, aged 74, the only surviving brother of Mrs. J. R. Branwell, of Penzance, Cornwall, England.
