Variation of Date of Birth is 1660. According to E.L. Boe Williams, a descendant of the Cason's, and President of Huxford's Genealogical Society and contributor to all Cason Sketches published in Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia, James married in 1678 "Judith Ann Fleming," daughter of Charles Fleming and Susannah Bates Fleming.
