Biography

Rosanah Hepner was born in March of 1835 in Ohio. It is believed that she is the daughter of John George Hepner (1798–1842) and Elizabeth Diehl (1800–1849). She is listed in the home of her oldest brother; George Hepner on the 1850 Census^[1] in Montgomery, Ohio.

In January of 1859 she married James Robert Yost:

The couple are listed together on the 1860 Census,^[3] the 1870 Census,^[4] the 1880 Census,^[5] and the 1900 Census.^[6] Her husband passed away in 1901 and she is listed in the home of her son-in-law (Ezra Miller) and her daughter (Emma Yost Miller) on the 1910 Census.^[7] She passed away at the age of 79 in March of 1915.^[8]
