Her maiden name, Noble, is given in the U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 entry for her son, Paul Wesley Jones. Paul's father was Albert R Jones. Mae Belle's father was Samuel Noble, [1]
Mabel Roberts was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Jefferson, Jackson County, Arkansas for the April 16, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1898 in Arkansas and married. She was first married at the age of fifteen as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head B Rufus Roberts, son Harrold E Roberts, stepson Lawrence C Jones, mother Susan Roberts and son Kenneth Roberts.[2]
On April 1, 1935, Mable Roberts lived in Independence County, Arkansas.[3]
