Biography
Lois was born about 1746. Lois Unknown ... She passed away in 1822. After searching for over 20 years, no additional information/sources have been found for Lois, not even her last name. Some think it is Barrows but there is no proof. Thankfully, she is buried in upstate New York in Lambs Corner Cemetery next to her husband Nathaniel and the inscription on her aging gravestone tells us that she was the wife of Nathaniel Calkins and the date and age at death. I have been to their graves and carry them in my heart.
