Biography
Jane's last name is unknown. Her birth year of 1748 is calculated by her age at death. (85 years in 1833)
She first married Mr. Wheatley. She was the widow Jane Whatley (Wheatley) when she married Ebenezer Bliss.[1] The date of their marriage is not given in the Bliss Genealogy, but would have taken place prior to 1785 when their eldest child, John, was born.
Jane Bliss died at the age of 85 years on Dec. 7, 1833. She is buried at the School Street Cemetery in Lebanon, New Hampshire.[2]
